When the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit service debuts in late 2017, plans call for buses to run every 5 minutes in each direction during peak service hours. The heart of the program is quick, reliable, on-time service. With approval by both Oakland and San Leandro city councils, the project is officially underway. The project will be implemented in three phases. The construction activity for first two phases started in March 2015 and is anticipated to be completed by March 2016. The construction activity for third phase will begin in 2nd quarter of 2016 with the first BRT run planned for winter 2017.

The East Bay Bus Rapid Transit project corridor under the third phase of East Bay Bus Rapid Transit project is divided into 14 work zones. For the proposed limits of each construction zone Click BRT Construction Zones
